Subtle advertising for those who are "in the know". You don't need to bust out your BOTS membership card, or recite the Creed.....just throw these sweet patches on your footwear and walk like the hero you are. (Sorry, no extra small sizes for 1/75 or 2/75.)

Lovely...

...bit of kit, instant bonafides and an inside joke to boot. Served in 2-75 back in the 1970's, so technically never served in The Regiment, had already gone to the Dark Side by the time it was stood up.
