Great to wear for patrol if you wear vans a lot. Takes about a week to break in but no complaints here.
Surprisingly these shoes exceeded my expectations. The material is soft enough to be comfortable, yet sturdy enough to be somewhat durable for the long haul. The only improvement I could see being necessary is some way of preventing the extremely long tongue from sliding around. If it's not slipping to one side or the other it's almost always sliding down into the toe box cramming into your toes and chafing them. Aside from this I'm not too disappointed with my purchase and would likely consider buying these or other footwear from CF again in the future.
I use them for longsword fencing. They are super comfortable and sturdy. They give me good ankle support and feel like second skin. Highly recommend.
Owned them for less then 6 months and two eyelits are already broken. Haven't even put them through any real abuse.

Definitely a warranty issue. Would love to get you sorted with replacements.
Also, we've identified some issues with the eyelets as this product grew in popularity over the last year. Making changes now to keep this from happening in the future. As much as it sucks to have something break, we appreciate the feedback and hope to make it right with you.
They worked their first patrol shift tonight. They are comfortable and breathable. They are lightweight and do not slip like suspected. Will keep you posted as they work towards retirement.
