How Often Do You Practice Trust

Trust.

A firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

How often do you practice trust?

We trust all sorts of random shit; the brakes on our car, directions from Google, Wikipedia, the news, doctors, farmers, and countless other ‘someones’ or ‘somethings’ throughout every day.
But how often do you feel trusted?
The visceral, organic trust that fills your spirit?
There is a depth of human connection that can only be reached through deep trust.
Just as a young child trusts a parent, the superficial layers of bonding are stripped away in trust, revealing an internal harmony.
Brothers in battle, standing shoulder to shoulder in a firefight know this trust.
When we trust in another human, and feel their trust in us reciprocated, it enriches the experience of existence; a knowing that we are not alone.
To practice trust reinforces our own internal structure, and we find more confidence and reliability within, strengthening our own personal accountability.
We strive to be the best versions of ourselves at every opportunity, to feed that trust held in us even further.
