Wiki defines a “Political Flip Flop” here. To save you some reading, we’ll paraphrase for you. “a sudden real or apparent change of policy or opinion by a public official, sometimes while trying to claim that both positions are consistent with each other."
So how does that apply to you?
A Combat Flip Flop is a person that believes conversation, trade, and economic policies are more beneficial than armed conflict--while supporting an ethical, highly-trained, and motivated armed forces. Extremists aren't born extremists. They're born out of illiteracy, poverty, hunger, and hardship. And they don't rise to power by defeating the strong--they do it by exploiting the weak. If you promote education, employment, and independence, the "terrorists" are going to have a fight on their hands. The fight is on two fronts, but I think it's best summed up with this picture.
