Give Blood -- Wear Red to Give Red
While America prioritizes social distancing during this constantly evolving
outbreak, there are ways that Eagle Nation and our partners can serve and
help each other. According to the American Red Cross, communities now
face a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood
drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak.
Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on
lifesaving blood. We have set the goal of Team RWB donating at least 1,000
liters of blood in the coming weeks - this is over 2,000 members taking the
time to serve others.
Practicing social distancing and donating blood are not mutually
exclusive activities. It’s still safe to donate blood during the coronavirus
pandemic. Individuals are not at risk of contracting coronavirus through the
blood donation process or through blood transfusion.

I just learned about your organization today. Thank you so much for the work you are doing with blood drives. I am one who relies on monthly infusions of plasma/antibodies and many in my community are worried about our supply and future supplies of lifesaving antibodies which can only be obtained from blood donations. There is no synthetic equivalent. Thank you again.
